# On-Site

> Create and publish pages on your own domain that AI engines can cite

On-Site is the workspace for building new pages on your own domain. It's where you turn a topic gap from [AI Visibility](/dashboard/visibility) or a source gap from [Citation](/dashboard/citation) into actual content.

## Layout

### Tabs

## Page status

The status label shown on each row.

| **In progress** | Generating, building, or deploying  | Wait for it to finish, then check the preview |

| **Live**        | Published to the production domain  | Check index status, request indexing          |
| **Failed**      | Build or deployment failed          | Check logs on the detail page, then retry     |
| **Excluded**    | Excluded before generation started  | See below                                     |

<Note>
  **Excluded is not the same as Failed.** The build didn't fail: the pre-generation research step judged it a duplicate topic or duplicate URL path and never generated it in the first place. Check the detail page for the exclusion reason.

While generation is in progress, the current step is shown alongside it.

## Creating pages

Open the `...` menu in the header and choose **Generate pages**.

The dialog only takes **one input: how many pages to generate**, from 1 to 50.

You don't choose the topics yourself. Anymorph picks page candidates from recent prompt and citation data, researches source material for each candidate, and builds a preview with the evidence attached.

<Tip>
  Rather than generating a large batch at once, **start with 10 or fewer and review the results before scaling up**. If the generated pages don't match what you expected, fix the brand rules and source material in [Knowledge](/dashboard/knowledge-base) first: generation quality depends on that input.

<Note>
  There's currently no form for entering a URL and topic directly to generate a specific page. To steer what gets generated, adjust the source material in [Knowledge](/dashboard/knowledge-base) and the topic structure in [Prompt](/dashboard/prompts).

## Filters and sort

| Filter       | Values                                                         |

| Review state | Not reviewed, In review, Reviewed                              |

| Product      | Shown only in workspaces with a product catalog                |

Sort options are Newest, Oldest, Title A–Z, and Priority.

### Priority and review state

**Priority** is the projected impact estimated at generation time. Use it to set review order.

**Review state** only tracks who's looked at a page. It doesn't block publishing. You can publish from any state.

<Tip>
  Once page volume grows, **sorting by Priority and filtering to Not reviewed** is the fastest way to work through the backlog top-down.

## Detail page

Click a preview's title or path to open the detail screen.

Depending on status, you'll see buttons for regenerate, refresh screenshot, publish, edit content, and delete.

## Publishing

    Select a page and check the right-side preview. Open the detail page if you need logs or sources.

    Click **Edit** to go into [Page Editor](/dashboard/page-editor).

  <Step title="Publish">
    Click **Publish** to deploy. Once it finishes, the page moves to the Live tab.

### Scheduled publishing

You can set a publish time in advance. The backend publishes it automatically at that time.

<Warning>
  Deleting a published page turns any URL AI engines or users already reference into a 404. Consider editing or unpublishing first unless removing the URL is actually required.
</Warning>

## Requesting indexing

After publishing, check index status and the request button from the list.

| **Request index**     | Copies the live URL and opens Search Console URL Inspection. Paste it, run inspection, then click **Request indexing** |
| **Requested (D+n)**   | Requested n days ago. Undo if it was requested by mistake                                                              |
| **Indexed**           | Google has confirmed indexing                                                                                          |
| **Canonical indexed** | Indexed under a canonical URL                                                                                          |

<Note>
  Requesting indexing requires a connected Search Console. If it's not connected, set it up first in [Integrations](/settings/integrations). Google enforces a daily request quota, so plan for no more than 10 manual requests per day. Pages usually move to Indexed within 1-2 days.
</Note>

## Bulk operations

Select multiple pages from the `...` menu to process them at once.

## Troubleshooting

  <Accordion title="The preview is blank">
    It may still be In progress. Wait for it to finish. If it's stuck, check the logs on the detail page.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Shows as Excluded">
    That's not a build failure: it was excluded before generation started, usually because of a duplicate topic or a duplicate URL path. Check the detail page for the exclusion reason.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Request index doesn't open Search Console">
    Check that the workspace domain has a Search Console property connected and that your account has permission. The URL still gets copied to your clipboard even if the deep link doesn't open.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="It shows content issues">
    Verification found a fact-check problem or a brand-rule violation. Review the items on the detail page, fix them in the editor, and republish.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="The generated topics don't match what I expected">
    Topics are auto-selected from prompt and citation data. To change the direction, strengthen the brand rules and source material in [Knowledge](/dashboard/knowledge-base) and adjust the topic structure in [Prompt](/dashboard/prompts).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="It's published but AI isn't citing it">
    Indexing and citation both take time. First confirm it's Indexed, then check [Site Audit](/dashboard/site-audit) for accessibility issues. If nothing changes after a few weeks, check [Citation](/dashboard/citation) to see where AI is pulling that topic from instead.
